Approach
I work with teams at board, executive and senior management
levels. My clients are across a wide spectrum of business sectors,
including financial services, telecoms, construction, engineering,
banking and food and drink. I use an eclectic range of tools
relevant to the brief, such as GROW, DREC, psychometrics and many
proprietary models.
My approach is to have one to ones with each team member before
the group session to understand the key issues individually and
collectively. My role with the group is to ensure all members
contribution is offered, listened to and valued; to facilitate
discussion and deal with conflicting views; to clarify, summarise
and draw out specific actions.
Philosophy
I work on the belief that best leadership brings best business
results. My passion is to help the people and the numbers meet
their goals together. Teams perform because the individuals trust
each other - it is a privilege to work with teams to develop this
trust.
Experience
I know what it's like as a practitioner having had a long career
in General Management and as a Board Director.I had over 30 years
of commercial experience, working with both UK and multinational
companies. I ran many businesses and was involved in project teams
and executive boards for change management programs, acquisitions,
mergers, joint ventures and business turnarounds.This experience is
invaluable in my coaching on a group basis.
I am a graduate of Manchester University and the PED Programme
of IMD, Lausanne and a member of the Institute of Directors.
